Hiring Captains, Admirals and Merchants! 

 

This page was created on the 2nd September, 2015 - So we will class this as an extra : In my opinion, Captains are the most expensive Type of Officer you will ever have to buy.

 

How do captains work?

Captains, let you build ships - For every captain you have, you can build one ship when you reach the amount of captains you have by ships you will have to buy at least one captain! Right now , Mine cost me 1.9 Million gold coins, and I have 280 captains! Here is a little tip, I normally Hire 5 captains As that is a full fleet of ships you can make!

What is the Formula for Captains?

Captains = (Current Number of Captains + 1)^1.5 * 400
 

How do Admirals Work?

For every fleet, you will need a Admiral : So lets say you have 4 fleets, you would need a extra admiral if you stole/built another ship to put it into a fleet... For every 1 Admiral, you can buy 5 Captains....

What is the Formula for Admirals?

 

Admirals = (Current Number of Admirals + 1)^1.5 * 2000
 

How do Merchants Work?

For every Fleet you want to trade betwen ports or Fishing - You will Need a Merchant, these are extremely cheap compared to Captain Cost : Please note, you do not need captains to buy these, it is wise to buy 1 merchant and 1 admiral, as then you can always sell a war fleet and make it into another Merchant fleet!

What is the Formula for Merchants?

 

Merchants = (Current Number of Merchants + 1)^1.5 * 1000

 

Tips!

- What I normally do is buy 5 Captains, 1 Admiral and 1 Merchant all together, as if you get cast on by assasins - A voodoo spell, their is a chance that admirals and merchants will get assasinated instead of captains - Which are dearly expensive!

-To Avoid any Losses, I suggest getting a extra 20 Captains, 5 admirals and 5 Merchants, as this can prevent losses with Assasins!
